Back To The Music

Quotation of the day ~ Rory Gallagher: Push the tempo, push the time / No excuses, not this time.

Okay, yesterday's post -- the one about St Louis -- was not the best thing i've ever written. I admit it, but i'd been trying to write it for so long, trying to elucidate my feelings and examine my interest in the place, with no real conclusion in mind;  ultimately it became more of a frustration than anything else and i just wanted to get it done, published and over with so that i could move on.

To my CD collection LOL. Here's the next batch:

And, of course, the playlist:

Fish - Feast Of Consequences (twice!)
Coldplay - Parachutes
Dead Can Dance - Toward The Within
Chickenfoot - Chickenfoot
Black Country Communion - Afterglow
Chicago - Chicago VI
The Butterfield Blues Band - East-West
Saga - 20/20
Eric Clapton - Me And Mr Johnson
Peter Hammill - Thin Air
Sheryl Crow - Feels Like Home
Garfield - Out There Tonight
Donovan - A Gift From A Flower To A Garden
Brian Plummer - No Questions

Th-th-that's all, folks!!

Scratch that itch Richard. Your cat will be fine in your flat for five days. You can get a return flight from Detroit of St. Louis for only $230 Cdn. and that includes a stop over in either Chicago or Atlanta . . . both really cool towns themselves. Renewing your passport is just $120.

All in all, not much more than your annual soujour to Toronto and Hugh's Room.

There's more to life then Kelsey's and your record collection.

As Nike says: 'Just do it."

LOL, Anonymous! Did you know those prices or did you look them up just for me? Thanks, bro.

There's more to life than Kelsey's and my record collection?!? What an astonishing suggestion! There's also Facebook....

I have a U.K. passport and the price of a new one is a bit more than that. Besides, when i go to Toronto to Hugh's Room, i have friends i can stay with. St Louis (or Chicago, or Atlanta) would require hotels. Sadly, the money (and my lack thereof) will be the deciding factor.
