The KSHE Klassics Program, May 1st 2016

Quotation du jour: Douglas Adams ~ I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.

That was odd -- John Ulett (the host) played the same song twice, albeit in different versions. "Arms Of Mary." He played the original version by The Sutherland Brothers and Quiver, and the cover version by Chilliwack. Well, he knows what he's doing and wow, look at the playlist for yesterday's show! Sheer magic.

The Outlaws -- There Goes Another Love Song
REO Speedwagon -- Son Of A Poor Man
Santana -- Dance Sister Dance
Eric Clapton -- Mainline Florida
Sherbs -- No Turning Back
The Band -- The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down

(Incidentally, if Mr Ulett hadn't said, at one point in the program, something along the lines of "hard to believe it's the first of May already," i wouldn't have known it, and wouldn't have paid my rent on time.

And here's a (small) playlist from me:

Genesis -- ...And Then There Were Three
Mott The Hoople -- The Ballad Of Mott: A Retrospective
Survivor -- Vital Signs
Genesis -- Duke
Poco -- Crazy Loving: The Best Of Poco 1975-1982
