The KSHE Klassics Show, Nov. 26th, 2017

Quotation du jour: Hans Christian Anderson ~ Where words fail, music speaks

It seems i was listening from somewhere in California on Sunday. I hope the weather was nice for me, it was dull and dreary and -1 degree (Celsius) at home. At least, that i was thinking as the audio stream began and i was told that "together we can make California better."

Then something that i really loved, happened. A couple of weeks ago i mentioned that listenlive.co, the outfit that streams KSHE's audio, would, during commercial breaks, replace the local St Louis ads with (a) a sometimes wildly inappropriate song of their own, and/or (b) ads aimed at me based on my geographical location, i.e., wherever my VPN told them i was listening from. That didn't happen this Sunday. There were no extraneous songs and i heard mostly local ads, which was great. I love St Louis so much, i even like their radio ads! http://www.moinsurance.org/ http://www.suntrupnissan.com/ https://www.ackermantoyota.com/ http://www.goodfeet.com/st-louis/ I shoulda been born there.... (I wonder if those people will give me a commission...?)

And what a playlist. I know i'm onto a good thing when, in a four hour show, there was only one song that made me want to toss the laptop out of the window, the REO Speedwagon horror. (OMG, i hate that piece of alleged music.) I needed this, too: i had a miserable, stress-filled week at work. You might be surprised to hear that i have another job! Yes, i've been blogging for ten years now and i've earned around $13, so it's not like i need one, but i like to do something that keeps me busy for more than four hours a week.... Last week was too OTT, though. Keep clicking on them ads, folks!
