I was watching a DVD the other night -- shocking, i know -- and, as i sat through twenty minutes of advertising before the film began, it occurred to me.
Television programs are basically free (apart from one's extortionate cable bill, that is) -- paid for by advertising. As most DVDs nowadays seem loaded with ads, the DVDs should also be free!
I think i'll mention this to the owner of my local DVD shop -- i'm sure he'll see my point.
Anyway, here are the films i've watched since my last post:
I never tire of the "Die Hard" series, in fact the only dog in this little lot was "Creep."
The
only reason i bought it was that Franka Potente is in it, and i like her as an actress. But "Creep" is so bad that it
almost brings her down to its level.
I'm not a fan of horror movies really. I don't enjoy being jolted out of my chair and grabbing hold of the ceiling in fright. "Creep" doesn't even redeem itself by having moments like that.
Franka is gorgeous though. She can have me.
