Quotation du jour ~ Martin Amis: But
before we face experience, that miserable enemy, let us have some
more innocence, just for a while
I was listening from North Bergen, New
Jersey this morning – somewhere i've never been before. It's the
birthplace of Carlos Alomar, who probably appears on KSHE
occasionally as he was a member of David Bowie's band for a long
time.
As my regular reader will have noticed,
there was no blog post last Sunday. It was Mother's Day – the
busiest day of the year in my business – and i was unable to listen
because i was at work. In fairness to my manglement team [managers],
they did ask me if i wanted to work. I said, no, but that i
would if i had to. Guess i had to. Not being able to listen to the
program pretty much ruined my week. I should have replied
"Nooooo!!!!"
As for this morning's show – quite a few songs that i love, only
one song that i couldn't stand (that would be the REO Speedwagon),
and everything in between those extremes was eminently listenable.
It's the best radio show that i'm aware of, forcertain forsure.
