KSHE KLASSICS SHOW, March 24th, 2019

Quotation du jour ~ Cat Stevens: The words of the songs speak for themselves.

[As you may or may not know, i live in Canada, and for some reason KSHE doesn't stream their audio to here and i have to connect via a VPN, to spoof a non-Canadian address. This week, according to https://whatismyipaddress.com/ i was listening from North Bergen, New Jersey yet again.]

I think that this week's installment deserves a grade of A, although an A- was tempting. But i'm in a good mood, i'll give it an A.

There was certainly enuff schtuff this morning that i can honestly say that i love, but there was also a lot of music that was just plain ordinary. Pleasant but not exceptional. At least there was nothing that made me want to throw the laptop out the window, and it's always great to hear Cheryl Dilcher, which doesn't happen very often. Wishbone Ash and Renaissance were probably the highlights for me, oh, and Genesis, too. And Chicago and The Sutherland Bros....

It was nice to hear Max Webster, too – one of my favourite Canadian bands. I'm sorry, though, that “Battle Scar” seems to be the only song of theirs that is ever aired on KSHE – they did so many that are much better, Dave. Maybe i should get my own radio program – I have the perfect face for radio, at least....

That's Cheryl Dilcher down there, btw. It may not be her real hair.
