KSHE KLASSICS SHOW, August 18th, 2019

Quotation Of The Week ~ Dylan Thomas: Oh, I'm a martyr to music.

[As you may or may not know, i live in Canada, and for some reason KSHE doesn't stream their audio to here; i have to connect via a VPN, to spoof a non-Canadian address. This week, https://whatismyipaddress.com/ was unable to locate me precisely, but i was somewhere in central Kansas .]

I don't think i can grade this week's program higher than a B plus, i'm afraid. There was one truly awful song (the Ray Manzarek, and he's neither a singer nor a songwriter) and the number by Axe was pretty moronic, but the problem was that there wasn't a whole lot that i loved this morning: maybe six songs in four hours (the highlight being FM's “Phasors On Stun”).

Plus, in an appalling gaffe, Uman mis-identified the group Man as being English, whereas they are a group proud of their Welsh heritage. In fact, i have an album of theirs on which the cover is a cartoon of the group pushing Cymru (that's Welsh for Wales) away from England with bargepoles...

I'd love to share that cover with you, but i couldn't find it. Here's the Welsh flag, instead:
