[As
you may or may not know, i live in Canada, and for some reason KSHE
doesn't stream their audio to here; i have to connect via a VPN, to
spoof a non-Canadian address. This week, according to
https://whatismyipaddress.com/
i was listening from Cheney, Kansas yet again (although, as
Cheney itself has a population of under 3000, it has no decent inns
of its own so my hotel is probably in Wichita).]
Aw,
c'mon, John: Bloodrock? Really? Gad, that song is awful. Its
dirgelike nature is so in contrast with the feel-good mood of most of
the stuff this morning (even the sad songs) and besides, just taken
on its own merits it's a very bad piece of music.
Bad,
bad, bad. No redeeming musical value. Bad.
That
said, i'm awarding this week's show a grade of A.
Admittedly,
there wasn't a lot that i can honestly say i love – not much from
my list of 1000 favourite songs – but Mott The Hoople, 10 c.c., The
Beatles and Renaissance .... these songs are in my top 200, and
they're what resulted in the A. As for the rest of the program, their
was some pretty obscure schtuff to be sure, but nothing annoying –
even the Ted Nugent song wasn't awful.
Here's
the view from my Wichita hotel room – i was so high up it gave me a
nosebleed.
