The KSHE Klassics Show, Nov. 19th, 2017

Quotation du jour ¬ Joni Mitchell: I see music as fluid architecture.

On Sunday morning, i had a seamless listening experience -- no connection problems at all, and no computer woes. Unlike most of the week. I won't bore you with the details; suffice to say that i needed my modem replaced and had to uninstall and re-install my browser and to be honest, until just a couple of hours prior to the start of the show, i wasn't certain i'd be able to listen at all, except on my iPad with a $45 Bluetooth speaker, which sounds okay but can't compare to the Altec-Lansings i have on the computer. I sorted everything out, though. I'm not just another pretty face.

And it was a great show yet again -- only one song i really can't stand (The Marshall Tucker Band) and several that i truly love (Yes, Rockpile, the Rod Stewart -- i know, kids, it may be hard to believe now, but Rod Stewart created some brilliant music back in the seventies).

And this photograph of Joni Mitchell has absolutely no relevance to the show -- i doubt if KSHE has ever played Joni -- but i'm reading David Yaffe's biography of her atm, and it's excellent, so she's been on my mind.
