KSHE Klassics Show, April 22nd, 2018

Quotation du jour: Sir Thomas Beecham: The function of music is to release us from the tyranny of conscious thought.

I started out listening from Santa Clara yet again this morning, but about an hour in there was a momentary power outage here and i had to restart the computer. When i came back on, i no longer had a secure tunnel to the U.S. Something had changed in my V.P.N. When i finally got that sorted out, i was listening from Clifton New Jersey. I'm a gadabout, what can i say?

I don't think i missed any music, though – when i realised that there was the danger of it, i fired up the iPad and listened on that, and it was really not much more than four minutes before i was able resolve the problem(s), and most of it happened during a commercial break. They were four very fraught minutes, though!

Just clock the playlist: this is what classic (and Klassic) rock is all about, and not a single duff track in the entire four hours. The other radio station i listen to, Radio Paradise, can't go for four hours without playing something i hate; KSHE's regular programming includes something i hate virtually every hour; and sometimes the Klassics show includes music i can't stand. Not today! Brilliant radio. I came dangerously close to dancing in my living room during the song by Diesel....
