KSHE Klassics Show, April 29th, 2018



Quotation du jour ~ Stevie Wonder: Music, at its essence, is what gives us memories. And the longer a song has existed in our lives, the more memories we have of it.

Listening from Clifton, New Jersey again this week. Good choice: it's warmer there than it is here and i'm fed up with the f****ng cold. It was a seamless listening experience – no problems with connectivity at all – and, as usual, the highlight of my week.

Gosh, two songs in a row by bands from St Louis this morning: Pavlov's Dog and Mama's Pride. What a difference, though: the former was probably the worst song of the show, the latter one of the best – although there was a lot of competition: quite a few songs i love today, including one i love so much i had tears of happiness welling up when Uman played it. (I'll give you a hint: it wasn't the song by The Who.) Yes, 'twas a good 'un, and, as so often happens, the end of the program took me by surprise.
