KSHE Klassics Show, Sept. 9th, 2018

Quotation du jour: Quentin Tarantino ~ "Sure, Kill Bill is a violent movie. But it's a Tarantino movie. You don't go to see Metallica and ask the fuckers to turn the music down."

[As you may or may not know, i live in Canada, and for some reason KSHE doesn't stream their audio to here. I have to connect via a VPN to spoof a non-Canadian address. This week, according to https://whatismyipaddress.com/, i was listening from New York City and happy to be there again.]

A great show this week.

As i've said before, any edition that includes a song by Dan Fogelberg is given an A+ and this week there were two numbers. Admittedly, the first of the two was an overture rather than a song, but who's carping?

The fact is, though, that the A+ was merited regardless. I don't really think that metal bands like Molly Hatchet and Judas Priest belong on the Klassics Show, but i didn't dislike their contributions, so let that pass. There were also one or two songs that i could have lived without, but i didn't hate them; i can't complain about that, either. [My cat writes: oh, shut it, i'm sure you'll find something to complain about somewhere.]

Two of my top fifty fave songs of all time were here, too: the Mott The Hoople and the Todd Rundgren, but, really, there was so much schtuff that i loved. I want to have this program's babies. It was, as usual, the highlight of my week.
