[As you may or may
not know, i live in Canada, and for some reason KSHE doesn't stream
their audio to here and i have to connect via a VPN, to spoof a
non-Canadian address. This week, according to
https://whatismyipaddress.com/
i was listening from New York City.]
This
week's instalment automatically is graded an A+ thanks to the
inclusion of a Dan Fogelberg song but to tell you the truth, based on
the first half of the show, an A- was about all i was going to
manage. Some excellent music in the first two hours, but very little
i could honestly say i loved.
The
second half changed all that, though: there was loads of much-loved
music and even though i hated the REO Speedwagon track, the great
schtuff negated the bad taste REO invariably leaves in my mouth.
I
do have one big problem with The Byrds' song “Chestnut Mare.” I
love the song, i do. Part of the chorus is “and we'll be friends
for life / i'll treat her like a wife.” Er, what?!? He's singing
about a horse, for goodness' sake. Just what is going on
here?
This
week's pic is of A.O.C. I'm inserting it because this is my blog and
i can do what i want. American politics these days is such a farce,
but i like Alexandria :-)
