Quotation du jour ~
Benjamin Franklin: In wine there is wisdom, in beer there is Freedom,
in water there is bacteria.
[As you may or may
not know, i live in Canada, and for some reason KSHE doesn't stream
their audio to here and i have to connect via a VPN, to spoof a
non-Canadian address. This week, according to
https://whatismyipaddress.com/
i was listening from North Bergen, New Jersey
again.]
Well,
wow. And indeed, WOW!
I'm almost – almost
-- tempted to give this week's show an A++ even though there was no
Rorysong. It was brilliant, rather like listening to my own record
collection without the hassle of having to leave my chair every five
minutes to change the CD. So much music that i loved and at least
three songs that i would include in my personal top 100 favourites:
Renaissance, Eagles and Genesis.
In
fact, in the entire four hours' worth of music (which, without the
ads would probably be little more than 2½
hours) (i keep meaning to verify that with a stopwatch, but i forget
every week), there was only one song that kinda sorta annoyed me. No,
it wasn't Styx, surprisingly enough. It was Derek &The Dominos.
Their album has some great music on it but it was a alcohol / cocaine
/ heroin-fuelled mess and today's track was the worst.
And
here's a great St Louis brew:
