[As you may or may
not know, i live in Canada, and for some reason KSHE doesn't stream
their audio to here and i have to connect via a VPN, to spoof a
non-Canadian address. This week, according to
https://whatismyipaddress.com/
i was back to North B|ergen, New Jersey.]
(At
the risk of offending Todd Rundgren, i hate that sodding Bolero. One
of the worst pieces of music ever, IMFFHO.)
It's
with some reluctance that i'm grading this week's instalment an A.
There was nothing wrong with it, exactly – no, it was fine,
it was great, but it wasn't extraordinary. There were a few songs i
love – not many, though, and far too much of what you might call
generic classic rock.
The
songs that dragged it up from being an A- or even a B+ were those by
ELO, Mama's Pride, Fleetwood Mac and Paul McCartney. Yes, Macca! I
have a lot of problems with that man, i hate the historical
revisionism he's been performing with The Beatles, but i can't deny
he wrote some much-loved music. (Although what has he done lately,
eh? Eh?)
Anyway,
here's North Bergen. As i've spent so many Sundays there, i was (and
thought you might be) interested in seeing what it looks like.
